Illustrative dashboard

An idle CNC costs money. Nobody sends you the bill.

Wages, rent and machine loans are paid whether the spindle turns or not. Every hour a machine waits is money gone, and it rarely shows up in a report.

  • Small stops disappear. Tool changes, material waits and setups add up across a shift, and few of them reach the logbook.
  • Reports arrive too late. By the time the numbers reach you, the shift is over and the loss is done.
  • Guesswork replaces facts. Without machine data, nobody can say which stop costs you the most.

Machine monitoring gives you those facts. Put your own numbers into the ROI calculator and see what idle time costs you, and how quickly the plan could pay for itself.

CNC machine monitoring features

Three answers you get every shift: what was made, how well the machine ran, and why it stopped.

Real-time Production

See machine status, production count and rejected parts as they happen, from your phone. No waiting for the end-of-shift report.

Illustrative mobile app shift summary showing production time, downtime, parts produced and downtime reasons for a CNC machine

Auto OEE Calculation

OEE is calculated for you from machine data, so nobody adds up logbooks after the shift. Compare machines and shifts on the same number.

Downtime Analysis

Every stop lands on a timeline with its reason. Fix the biggest loss first, instead of the loudest complaint.

12 more ways to control your shop floor

  • Instant alerts

Get notified when a machine's performance drops, so a problem does not run for a whole shift.

  • Automatic reports

Machine performance and production reports are made for you, on time, for everyone who needs them.

  • One plant screen

See old machines, new machines and mixed controllers together in one dashboard.

  • Cycle time tracking

See cycle time, machine loading time and cutting time for each machine.

  • Monitor from your phone

Track machine status and 50+ parameters from your mobile, wherever you are.

  • Performance trends

Look back over a longer period to find patterns and check that fixes actually worked.

  • Rejection tracking

Count rejected parts next to production, so quality losses show up in the same place as output.

  • Tool monitoring

Keep an eye on a tool's condition and remaining life using data from the machine.

  • Maintenance alerts

Get maintenance reminders before a breakdown, so regular service does not get missed.

  • Machine interlocking

Lock a machine until a target is met, for more control over production. Custom logic is possible.

  • Custom reports

Get reports shaped around your machines and the numbers your team cares about.

  • Charts that show losses

Clear graphs and colours make losses and unusual patterns easy to spot.

How CNC monitoring works

  1. Connect

We install it on your industrial PC and link your machines. You go live within 1 to 2 days.

  2. Monitor

Status, output and timing for each machine appear in real time.

  3. Analyze

Compare OEE and downtime reasons, machine by machine and shift by shift.

  4. Improve

Fix the biggest loss first, then watch the numbers change.

CNC monitoring questions, answered

How much does CNC machine monitoring software cost?

Autobits CNC machine monitoring costs ₹5,499 per machine per year, plus GST, with a minimum of 5 machines. Installation is included. You buy the industrial PC separately.

What is OEE?

OEE stands for Overall Equipment Effectiveness. It is Availability × Performance × Quality, and it shows how much of your planned time produced good parts.

What does ₹5,499 include?

CNC machine monitoring software for one machine for one year, with real-time production, auto OEE calculation and downtime analysis. Installation is included. GST is charged on top.

What hardware do I need?

You need one industrial PC, which you buy yourself. It is not part of the ₹5,499 price, and one PC can connect many machines. PC specification: Intel Core i5-13420H (13th Gen) processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, 1 × HDMI 1.4, 2 × Gigabit LAN ports, USB 3.0 ports and Wi-Fi. If you are connecting 100+ machines to one PC, choose an Intel Core i7 instead. Older machines may need external sensors.

What is the minimum commitment?

5 machines. That makes the smallest order ₹27,495 per year, plus GST.

How long does installation take?

Once your PC is ready, installation is finished within 1 to 2 days, and your machines go live on our software.

Which CNC controllers are supported?

Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi and Haas controllers. For other brands, or older machines, talk to us and we will check.

Does it work on older CNC machines?

Yes. Older machines can be connected with external sensors, so old and new machines can sit on one dashboard. Talk to us about your machines and we will check.

How do I work out the ROI of CNC monitoring?

Multiply your machine rate by the idle hours you lose in a year, then decide how much of that time you could win back. Compare that value with the yearly cost. The calculator on this page does the sum using your own numbers.

Is my machine data secure?

Yes. Your machine data is kept secure. If your IT team needs more detail, talk to us.

How does billing and renewal work?

You make one payment a year, per machine, plus GST. Nothing is charged automatically. At the end of the year, if you are happy and it still meets your needs, you pay for the next year to renew.

Can I cancel?

No. Once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Each plan runs for its full year, and you decide whether to renew when the year ends.

What support do I get?

Our support team is available Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
